Date: Tuesday May 7, Wed May 8 and Thursday May 9, 2024

Location: Toronto

Students who are invited to participate in the Nationals will receive information on registration directly from Chidon Canada.

​

The top scoring students in their Regional events are invited to continue to the National competition, which is held on alternating years in either Toronto or Montreal in early May. 

​

There are 4 rounds of competition beginning with a multiple choice test followed by a short answer test on the first day. 

​

The top students move onto the semi-final and final rounds which take place on the Wednesday afternoon.

​

Our awards ceremony and closing banquet takes place on Wednesday in the evening. 

​

Out of town students are invite to breakfast on Thursday morning before returning home. 

​

Students who are not participating in the semi-finals or finals on Wednesday will have plenty of fun activities to take part in before attending the closing banquet on Wednesday evening.

​

The top scoring high school students in the final round are invited to Israel the following year to represent Canada in the International Chidon competition.
